An orthodontist is a dental specialist that helps patients in correcting conditions of the teeth and gums. This includes conditions such as overbites, under bites, cross bites and so on. He works together with a dentist and an oral hygienist to ensure dental and oral health of patients. He usually works alongside dentists or he may practice in a private setting.
