Dr Sanjay Mehta qualified in medicine at Imperial College London in 2013 and also has a BSc in Haematology. He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a Diplomate of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr Mehta has worked in both NHS Oxford and Cambridge University Hospitals, covering several medical, psychiatric and surgical specialties. He has also worked in NHS GP practices in both London and Oxford and more recently in COVID hubs during the pandemic. Privately, he has worked for a leading private online consultation platform.
In 2021, Dr Mehta was appointed as Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission (CQC), advising on Primary Medical Services and Integrated Care. He is a Medical Examiner for the General Medical Council (GMC).
