Sean Preston: Consultant Gastroenterologist in London

Dr Sean Preston is a Consultant Gastroenterologist based at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health. Fellowship trained, he is Director of Endoscopy at Barts Health and is experienced in gastroscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. His clinical practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of gastro oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), Barrett's oesophagus, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhoea, constipation and bloating, in addition to diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy of the oesophagus, stomach and colon. He has a keen interest in gut health and gastrointestinal microbiota and uses both diet, pre and probiotics to achieve and maintain optimal conditions within the bowel. Clinical consultations are structured to allow patients sufficient time to explain all their symptoms and to fully address their concerns. Dr Preston works within the framework of a first class clinical team that includes GI surgeons, radiologists, oncologists and a Dietician, where necessary.
