I was introduced to Cubex via a friend and met Adam Shulberg for the first time last year. Prior to my visit I had worn a very good NHS hearing aid (and had had excellent service from the NHS) but felt I wanted something smaller. My hobby is singing and I had heard that Cubex would be able to help find a suitable solution to help me hear, particularly music, more clearly.
I would liken my visits to Cubex as "having a major life saving operation," as now wearing two hearing aids has completely revolutionised my life. Right from my first visit to see Adam (Shulberg) I was made to feel totally at ease as soon as I entered the premises. The receptionist gave me an excellent welcome (and I was introduced to a lovely tasty Smoothie drink). Adam spent over two hours at my first visit obtaining my past history and deciding what would be the best solution for me. He told me he thought he would really be able to help me and he certainly has. Adam worked alongside me and at my two visits, between us, we have changed my life around completely.
I have now had the aids for a year and realise how much of life I must have missed over the years and only wish I had visited Cubex much sooner. I feel much more confident now in all I do and particularly with my hobby singing, more knowledgeable about things in general because I now hear everything, and feel I fit into society much better. My family are also exceptionally pleased that I now hear so well and am very happy with my new life.
I owe an enormous amount to Adam and to Cubex for all the help I have received so far - I cannot thank all the staff there enough and particularly Adam.
I would recommend to anyone with hearing loss to definitely give Cubex a visit.
