Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Foot, Ankle and Knee Specialist

Callum Clark is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in disorders of the foot, ankle and knee. His practice includes arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the ankle and knee, sports injury management, joint replacement and fusion, foot and ankle deformity correction and bunion surgery. 

Mr Clark was born and educated in Bristol, UK and studied medicine at Cambridge University. He trained in Orthopaedics at leading hospitals in London, including Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he developed an interest in foot and ankle surgery.

In 2003 he was awarded a fellowship year in foot and ankle surgery and sports injuries at the Melbourne Orthopaedics Group, a recognised centre of orthopaedics excellence in Australia.  On his return to the UK, he took up a post as a locum consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital before being appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals in 2004.

In addition to his busy NHS practice, Mr Clark provides a comprehensive private service for people with foot and ankle problems at the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic and co-owns and runs his own clinic at Park Hall Clinic in Wexham, where the headquarters of the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic are based.  He also sees patients at the Fortius Clinic in Central London.

Mr Clark was elected on to the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) in 2013 and has a special interest in arthroscopic techniques, ankle problems, flatfoot disorder, plantar plate reconstruction, sports injuries and severe bunion deformities.

 

    Clinical interests

  • Skilled in the latest surgical techniques, including arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and minimally invasive surgery, Mr Clark works in close conjunction with physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthotists to treat the full range of conditions affecting the foot, ankle and knee, including sporting and traumatic injuries, arthritis, bunions and toe deformities, ligament damage and tendon problems.
     
    Mr Clark has a special interest in arthroscopic techniques, ankle problems, flatfoot disorder, plantar plate reconstruction, sports injuries and severe bunion deformities. 

    Research interests

  • With an active interest in education and research, Mr Clark lectures on foot and ankle surgery around the UK and was elected on to the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) in 2013. His research interests include severe bunion deformities and adult flatfoot deformity.
