 A leading consultant paediatric haematologist in London, Dr Josu de la Fuente is a specialist in complex blood disoders, including bone marrow transplantation for haemoglobinopathies and bone marrow failure. He provides expert treatment for a range of paediatric haematological conditions including sickle cell disease, bone marrow failure, thalassaemia, immune thrombocytopenia and haemolytic anaemia.


Dr Josu de la Fuente is a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist with considerable experience in paediatric haematology, having held many significant roles in a number of hospitals across London. He is currently the Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Programme and Clinical Lead in Haematology at St Mary’s Hospital, in addition to this he is also the clinical lead for Paediatric Specialities at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.
